Emmanuel Macron Shares Photo with Narendra Modi, Writes “Jai Ho” to Highlight India-France Partnership

At the India-France Innovation Forum in Mumbai, French President Emmanuel Macron posted a photograph with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media, captioned “Jai Ho.” During his address, Macron underscored the strength of the India-France strategic partnership, stating that France remains a steadfast partner of India.

He emphasized that the global conversation is no longer about whether India innovates, but about who chooses to innovate alongside India—adding that France stands firmly committed. Macron also announced that, at PM Modi’s suggestion, an Innovation Day will be held in Paris ahead of the G7 Summit under the Franco-Indian Initiative.

The two leaders launched the India-France Year of Innovation to deepen cooperation in technology, research, and entrepreneurship. Macron further praised India’s technological advancements and acknowledged the global leadership of Indian-origin CEOs at major corporations.
